Operator, public contact, hosting, and launch terms are still being finalized. This is not a final launch policy.
1. Scope and operator
This draft describes the SkillGator marketing website and local app preview. The public operator identity, privacy contact, hosting provider, and applicable processing details must be finalized before public launch. Connected accounts, project imports, or AI processing are not covered as active services by this draft.
2. Information in the marketing site
The site does not implement account registration, payment collection, advertising pixels, or analytics. A project link entered on the landing page is placed in the destination app URL when you choose to continue. It is not fetched or analyzed by the marketing site.
Your browser history and the app host may receive that destination URL. Use public project links without credentials, query parameters, or fragments. The website stores only a decorative-motion preference in local storage when you change it.
3. Information in the app preview
The current app stores onboarding choices, your active project reference or pasted context, supported local file contents, answers, and reflection progress on your device. It does not send that work to an AI service or a SkillGator database. Use a device and browser profile you trust.
You can delete the current project within the app. Clearing site data removes browser-stored preferences and activity; uninstalling or clearing app storage removes locally stored native-app data. There is no account-based backup or cross-device sync in the preview.
4. Contact messages
Until a public support inbox is configured, the contact page only prepares a message and copies it to your clipboard at your request. It does not submit or persist the message. If an email contact is enabled later, opening an email draft is not the same as sending it; your email provider handles delivery when you send.
5. Hosting, purposes, and retention
A deployed hosting service may process connection information, including IP addresses, requested URLs, and security logs, to deliver and protect the site. The selected provider, locations, processing basis, and retention periods must be documented before public launch.
Device data stays until you remove it or browser/app storage is cleared. The marketing motion preference stays until you change it or clear local storage. No operational-log retention promise is made before hosting is selected.
6. Your choices and requests
You can choose what to enter, delete local project data, clear local storage, and pause animations. Before collecting cloud data, SkillGator must provide an active privacy contact and explain applicable access, correction, deletion, objection, and complaint routes.
The public contact channel is still being prepared. Do not submit sensitive information through the preview. This draft does not claim that all jurisdiction-specific notice requirements have been finalized.
7. Future changes
Cloud sync, authenticated GitHub connections, file uploads, AI evaluation, analytics, or payment services would change these practices. Their providers, purposes, permissions, retention, and user controls must be explained before those features collect data.
